Lynch, Russell S
Russell S. Lynch is accredited for research in United States Midwest.He has an Honors BA in French from the University of Utah and a Masters of Library and Information Science from Brigham Young University. He served as the treasurer for the Utah Genealogical Association (UGA) from 2004 to 2008. Previously Russell served as a Director, Vice-President, and President of UGA. He has taught classes on records and research methodology at local, state, and national conferences. Russell works for FamilySearch, Intl. as a Project Manager in the Engagement Division. He has worked in the LDS Family History Department since 1985. From 2007 to 2015, he served as an officer of the Genealogy and Local History (GENLOC) Section of the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA). He has participated in recent World Library and Information Congress sessions on various continents. rom 2015 to 2019, he served as an officer of ICAPGen. Russell is married with one daughter and a son-in-law. Beside music, genealogy, and computers, he enjoys camping, hiking, photography, and gardening
