Jana is accredited in the England region. She received her BA in Genealogy/Family History from Brigham Young University in 2003. She has worked as an online adjunct faculty member for BYU-Idaho’s Family History Research degree program, and served on the Board of Directors for the Utah Genealogical Association from 2016-2018. She currently serves as the chair of the Level 1 Testing Committee for ICAPGen. Jana enjoys teaching, presenting, writing, and assisting others in researching their family trees. Jana and her husband Brent are the parents of seven young children. She and her children are on social media as “The Genealogy Kids” with a focus on getting young people involved in their own family history.
