Kim has been an avid genealogist since her teen years and now works as a full-time researcher for Legacy Tree Genealogists. She previously served as an adjunct online professor in the family history research program at Brigham Young University - Idaho. A graduate of Brigham Young University, she also earned an MBA and doctoral degree in educational policy from Stanford University and an associate degree in family history research from BYU-Idaho.
