Note: Some professionals are accredited in regions that are no longer offered or in regions that have been reconfigured. Their accreditations have been grandfathered. This is no reflection on the professionals as they are equally accredited.
Despain, Marci
Marci has been involved in family history since 1999 and has been a professional researcher since 2000. She has always loved reading about history and more especially the lives of her ancestors. While attending Brigham Young University, she decided to major in Family History with an emphasis in the British Isles. In 2003 she conducted an internship in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, England and then worked at the Family History Library from 2004-2013 in Salt Lake City where she was most recently a British Research Consultant. Marci was a Certified Genealogist (CGSM) with the Board for Certification of Genealogists from 2008-2019. Marci has been an Accredited Genealogist (AG®) for research in England since 2010 and currently works for BYU-Idaho.
